Power query editor doesn't launch

Hi,
I am having problem loading power query in excel. From the excel sheet I launch the power query editor but the dialog box doesn't open. The excel sheet freezes. I can not do anything on the excel sheet. I have to force stop excel from the task manager. I have deleted cache and removed any existing connection. However, Sometimes I can launch the query editor and it seems to be working fine. Mostly after a day. I am running into this problem for the past few weeks.
