Mac OS - Excel filtering issue

A table has not been added, but excel is limiting the lines that I can filter. This is only happening on one sheet in the file, what could I be missing to remove any formatting that could limit the number of lines in a filter (I tried to upload a screen shot as a PNG, JPEG, PDF, but it fails to upload)

Hi the excel version is Version 16.83 (24031120), macOS Sonoma Version 14.4.1.

I've tried copying and pasting the data to a new sheet, but I am getting the same results so maybe it's got something to do with the formatting, but I can't figure out what.

What is the present Version Number of your Office software? I believe Jim is referring to an issue that was fixed in v16.83 involving an empty cell anywhere in the first 10,000 cells in the column: From the 16.83 Release Notes:

    Excel

    • We fixed an issue in Excel Mac wherein AutoFilter does not show "Blanks" options when there are >10,000 unique values and a "Blank" cell is present in the first 10000 unique values.

I'm not sure but it may be related.

    Hi

Sounds like you have an empty row. An empty row signifies the end of a table or data range.
