Onedrive Auto save Issues

So three days ago my auto save function stopped working on OneDrive, after looking on here it seemed like it was a intention update not a issue. So been manually turning it on and saving each day. Then this morning its back to working like it use to, but every document I have altered in the last three days says I haven't opened them recently, there's no version history for the last three days and all the work I've done in the last three days is GONE! Any new documents I've created are there, but only as they were when first saved, not any work done on them since the first save. Anyone know how I can get back the work?
