Hello

I would like to add columns to a task component in Loop. I see a feature to insert rows and not columns. Please advise. Many thanks.

Kind regards

Lauren

    Hi, Lauren D'Silva

Thank you for using Microsoft products and posting them to the community.

I understand you're having trouble with "Add columns to a task component in Loop." I understand the problem and would like to help you better in your situation.

First of all, you are typing "/" and enter inserts the task list, right?

And then you're looking for the function boxed out in the image below?

I edited it by logging into Microsoft Loop, so maybe you can try looking at that as well.

Then or you can let me know your exact situation with a screenshot, which will help me locate the problem faster.

I hope the above information can help you. Feel free to submit a post if you need further assistance.

    Hi Adrian

    Thanks for your response.

I am unable to add columns to 'Tasks' component. I do not see the option to add columns.

The screenshot you've shared is a 'Table' component. For the 'Table' component, I see the option to add columns like the image you shared above.

    Hi, Lauren D'Silva

Sorry for the mistake about your intent, then after my testing, I realized that my task list doesn't have the option to insert columns either.

But I found another way to add columns, hope that helps!

Step 1: Right-click on the task, which will appear as shown in the image below, and then click Copy Task list

Step 2: Then click Ctrl+V when you want to type in the box below Bucket

Step 3: A new column will appear as well as a date, at which point you can pick a day by the way!

Step 4: A new column appears

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards

    Hi Aiden,

I followed your steps and get the new column, but I am not able to change the title or data setting.

Would you advise how to do so?

My goal is to add a column for comment or update for the task when it's done, is there any other way to do so?
