I haven't tried, but maybe Rclone for Android provides a third-party solution?

Greetings MS community,
As numerous posts here are requesting (and being silenced like this one android & onedrive: sync a local folder - Microsoft Community), we request the ability to select any folder on our devices to sync with One Drive.
This should be a core functionality like many cloud storage clients have, and yet, we are only receiving replies from moderators to submit a feedback (which has been done for years for this same functionality.
Additionally, the forum posts regarding this are being locked and we have no means to further discuss the matter.
Could we please get this to be implemented, OR some good soul on this forum to share an app that can do it?

Dear Júnior Reis,
Welcome to the Microsoft community and thank you for supporting OneDrive.
The reason why OneDrive Mobile lacks the ability to back up local folders may be due to the fact that Microsoft may prioritize features based on market demand. Different operating systems and devices have different file management and storage needs; OneDrive on Windows platforms focuses more on desktop file synchronization and backup, while Android platforms may focus more on photo and video backup as well as document backup, so the feature design will be different.
There's probably nothing we can do as support staff, but we'll keep this thread open so that our great community members can provide you with a more appropriate tool.
Thanks again for your valuable feedback regarding this feature.
Best regards,
