Hi,
I want to enter say 10 - 15 in a cell, but it keeps turning into a date, so format as general and this it becomes a serial number, re - enter as 10 -15 and it's back to a date. apart from = "10 -15" is there a way to do this?

Hi RichardDrake!

I am Shakiru, an independent advisor and a user like you, and I am glad to be helping you out today.

What about formatting the cell as Text before entering your data?

Or use an apostrophe ( ' ) before the value

Please let me know how

Thank you

Best Regards, Shakiru
