Show Profile photos not working on one column

I have a SharePoint list where I've created a few People fields and have enabled the "Show Profile Photos" selector but it only ever shows the name.

Other people columns on the same list seem to have no issue. Not sure what I might be missing...

    Thanks @CaseyYang-MSFT ,
I tried a new column and it works as expected.

    I found the issue though!
I had created the column and then applied a conditional format to the column. This is what had removed the profile image on the column.
When I remove the conditional formatting (highlights in red when there is no name entered) it shows the profile image/photo again.

    Hi @Scott Perley ,

Does this user's profile photo only missing in this column?

You could check if the profile pictures of the issued user are listed under this location (User Photos Document Library):

    https://<tenant>-my.sharepoint.com/User Photos/Profile Pictures

The photos should have the following naming convention and dimension requirements:

    1. username_tenantname_tld_SThumb.jpg: 42px x 42px
    2. username_tenantname_tld_MThumb.jpg: 78px x 78px
    3. username_tenantname_tld_LThumb.jpg: 300px x 300px

    Thanks @CaseyYang-MSFT ,

It's not just this user, it's any names I put in that column. Seems to be something wonky with this column. When I look at the setup and compare each of the columns, they appear identical.
