OneNote for Android Not Syncing

Question

I've been an avid OneNote user since 2010 on both PC and my Android devices and have recently encountered a major problem with the Android version not syncing due to permission issues. For a long time it simply stated "we can not sync now please try again later". So, now I have dozens of notes on my Android that aren't syncing and have no way to compare and copy them to my PC.

The instructions so far have been to logout of my Android version and restart to login again. But it says I will LOSE all of my unsynced notes.

Please tell me there is another way!!!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with OneNote not opening.  I know this must have caused you problems in your life or work and we apologize.

You first go to the OneDrive web side to search and view these files to see if they have synced properly. If the web end is normal, make sure your phone has enough storage space as well as being connected to a stable network. Or try uninstalling the OneNote app and reinstalling it from the Google Play store.

The synchronization after logging out and logging in that you mentioned is also the base scenario for forced re-synchronization, where you can back up your notes saved on the web side to local or external storage before logging out and logging in to prevent file loss.（Fix sync issues in OneNote for iOS or Android - Microsoft Support） We would appreciate it if you could come back to us.Jennie | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
