Hi All, looking for some advice on forms. I am creating a form for students to fill in about their music experience,  and I want it to have the following"What instrument do you play?" (Chosen from a drop down menu/multiple choice) - then following on with another question about "What Grade" .I want them to be able  to input as many options as they wantDoes anyone have knowledge on how to achieve this? With the hope it can be all accessed in the automatically generated Exel Spreadsheet and easily sorted through and viewed. Thanks in advance!

    Dear Bowen Matt,

    Good day!!

As per the description shared, I understand your concern, but I would like to confirm whether you are having only two questions i.e., What instrument do you play? & What Grade? for the responders to submit the question in the Form. If yes, then you no need to have branching, where you can create the multiple answers choice question and text type question like the below image:

However, if your requirement is to apply branching on the multiple answers choice question, I am sorry to convey that the branching can’t be applied on the question when choice question is enabled with the multiple answers option.

I agree with you having the ability to apply the branching on the choice question with multiple answer type question in the Microsoft Forms will benefit the users and I suggest you to add your valuable idea as a feedback in the Microsoft Forms · Community which is the best place to share our ideas and improve the Microsoft Products.

If there is any misunderstanding or confusion from our end, we apologize and request you to share the more detailed information with some screenshots, where it will help us to better understand and guide you further.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia
