    Dear Jasmine,

Thanks for writing back and updating us with the requested information.

As per the further updates, I would like to convey that you can go to the Pages Library in the SharePoint Online site and make the old page as a homepage, here are the steps to follow:

Step 1: Open the SharePoint Online site> Click on the Pages in the Site Navigation:

Step 2: Right-click on the old home page> Click on Make Homepage

Now if you click on the Home in the Site Navigation of the SharePoint Online site, you will see the old page as a Site Home Page.

However, if you are having only one page in the Page Library of the SharePoint Online site, it seems you have add template to the old page, where you can revert it back via Version History: Right-click on the Page> Version History> However your mouse over the version and click on view to check the version> If the version you are viewing is the required to be home page, you can click on the restore button.

I hope the information provided helps your requirement and if there is anything I missed or confusion, please feel free to post back to us with more details and some screenshots.

    Dear User,

    Good day!!

Apologies for the inconvenience caused and please don’t worry, let’s work together on your concern and move towards a resolution path.

I understand your concern and to my knowledge, I would like to convey that deleting the site page will not delete the content inside in the page because the content added to the page is stored in the different location in the SharePoint Online site where they are shown in the form of the webparts.

Coming to another concern i.e., “how do I unassign the new homepage?”, I would like to confirm whether you are looking to remove the new homepage and assign the old homepage as your homepage of the site? If not, can you please share the more details about your concern with some screenshots? So, that we can better understand your requirement and guide you in the right direction.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,
    Sophia
