Paste Option mini tool button disappears too quickly (sometimes) after pasting in Word document to change or select a different option

I regularly use the keyboard shortcut or right click cut and paste options in Word. Often when doing this between Word documents, the paste option mini tool button disappears too quickly after pasting into a document for me to select which paste option is required. It appears for a few seconds, other times it remains long enough for me to select/change to the most suitable paste option. I have reviewed my advance settings and can't see anything obvious. Of the 20 times I perform the same function (from 20 different documents), it would happen about 3 or 4 times. I can see no pattern or logic to the issue.

    Hi NatvV,

I've taken note of your situation. In our tests conducted using the latest version of Word, we did not encounter the issue you described with the mini toolbar appearing after using ctrl+v to paste. To rule out potential bugs specific to certain versions, are you using the most up-to-date version of Word? If not, we kindly ask that you provide your current Windows operating system version, along with the build number of Word, which you can find under File--Account in the product information section. This will enable us to conduct further investigations.

As a temporary workaround while we look into this, you might try pressing ctrl+v to paste, followed immediately by pressing ctrl again, which should lock the mini toolbar in place.

We look forward to your response.

    Best Regards,

Hi Jonathan. Thanks for the reply. I have tried your workaround and unfortunately that does not work. This is the version our company is using. Thank you
