IMPORTANT: Authenticator app not working

Hello!!

I have recently gotten a new job so I have added my new email address to my computer. However when I have tried to sign in it asks me to get a code from the authenticator app. I have added my work email to the app and it says that all works. However when my computer asks for a code from the app, no code comes up. I have tried the other way to authenticate my email, however the only options that come up is either 'get code from app' or 'enter code from app', however both are not working as my app doesnt load any codes. I have updated the app so it's on the most current version, I have logged in and out multiple times and have deleted the app, yet this problem is still happening.

On my school account it gives me the option to get a code from my phone number, however this time it hasn't given me this option.

Please help me as this is urgent.
