After trying to open up Excel it states it is "Updating Microsoft 365 and Office, please wait a moment".
After a while I get a Application Error "The application was unable to start correctly (oxoooo142), Click OK to close the application".
I can't open Excel to update it and have rebooted my computer several times.

Restart the PC, once fully loaded, repair Office,> Apps & Features>Select Office your version>Modify /Repair, once the repair completes re-test (Quick repair)
Then start any office component > File > Account > Update Options > Update now
