Hello,

I am attempting to Syn OneNote into my Desktop App and having issues since last week. Last week I got another error to copy my notes to a new page and then delete the current page. That is what I did and re-created to pages. I also tried logging out and signing back in and not working.

Do you know what I else I can do to get this solved?

Note: I normally use OneNote the Online version to add and make changes. However now I would like to use Password protection and I heard I need to get the Synched using the App.

Appreciate any help

Thanks

Lugina

Dear Lugina Qhespe,

Thank you for posting back.

Please check whether the follow steps could work for you:

  1. Please go to OneNote for the Web at www.onenote.com, check if this note has been synced to cloud here, if there are not synced, please back up these notes in advanced.
  2. Please create a new notebook and copy the page to the new notebook and sync it page by page.
  3. Open this notebook then press Shift + F9, it will force a full sync.

If above still can’t work for you, let me know and I would like to assist you further.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Sincerely,

Claire | Microsoft Community Moderator

    Hello Claire!

I thought it would be more tedious to copy page by page. What I did is Export the entire SECTION to my personal Lugina@Abbott notebook once I had that I copied and moved each page back to the same Notebook that I had trouble with initially and pressed shift+f9 to make sure every page was synching with the Online version. This worked!

    Thank You !

    Best Regards,

    Lugina

Hi Thomas, Thanks for the article.

Yes, I did read the short article. It states it's a temporary issue, however it doesn't seem it is. I tried everything logging in and out. I tried re-creating the page. In what page do I press Shift + F9 on this one or on the Application? I tried all different ways
