I have a IdeaPad FLEX 5-1570, out of nowhere the touch screen stopped working, I do have the pen and the pen is working perfectly fine, I tried to stop the HID-compliant touch screen and relaunch it, it didn't work, I tried to uninstall it and it reinstall it self and that didn't work either, I looked for updates for windows and Lenovo vantage and all says up to date, it was working fine yesterday, I'm not sure what to do, also I confirmed that windows seem to see that I do have a touch screen (through control panel it does not say that I dont have a touch screen) any suggestions?

    Run the Lenovo hardware diagnostics.
There should be both a BIOS and bootable version.
They may have different versions and different test performance.

Open device manager > click view > click show hidden devices > manually expand all rows > look for any row displaying a yellow triangle with black exclamation mark or unknown device > post images or share links into this thread

If the hardware passes then reinstall the applicable driver from the Lenovo website..

Whenever we have a problem, there are two possibilities of problems - hardware & software.

    SOFTWARE PROBLEM

Open device manager & navigate to the driver related to touch screen.
Then first try troubleshooting the driver.
Then update driver and try using your touch screen once.
This should be able to fix it, if doesn't then please try to roll back the driver.
Next is to run sfc /scannow command. Simply type 'sfc /scannow' in search and execute this command as Admin.

    HARDWARE PROBLEM
We can do nothing by ourselves for a hardware problem. Please take the laptop to Lenovo service center for possible repairs.
