Microsoft is not working in word as when i want to insert a picture on one page it adds it the last page i used and all my updates are all up to date succesfully

How are you inserting the picture? From a file on your computer? From an online file? Are you pasting? What is the wrapping on the picture? Square? In Line with Text?

I understand your concern and I would like to convey that I have tested the behavior in the latest version of the Word application on the Current Channel, where I am not having any issue with the inserting the pictures in the Word documents.

Since you have mentioned the Word application is up to date but having the issue, I would like to confirm the following information which will help us to better understand and guide you further:

1. Screenshot of Word App Account page: Open the Word document> File> Account> Take a screenshot and share it with us.
2. Does the problem happen even with the newly created Word documents?
3. Is your Word application enabled with an add-in? If possible, please share the screenshot of your complete Word app ribbon.
4. Does the problem happen when you are trying to insert any specific picture or any picture including the icons?
5. Does the problem start after any recent Office apps update?
6. Does the problem happens with the other Office apps such as Excel workbook or PowerPoint presentation?
