As per your description, you can’t install Microsoft 365 Office application, when you enter your account and password, you can only download the Skype.

If you need you install Office application on PC, you must have the correct license. To narrow down the issue and assist you further, please log in My account (office.com) and check if you have the license named the latest desktop version of Office. If you have Microsoft 365 for education A1 subscription, you don’t have this license.

If you have the correct license, then sign in www.office.com, click Install button and follow the step to install the Office Application.

Also, you can use Office Deployment Tool to install Office application. Here are steps:

1. Download and install Office Deployment Tool.
2. Open the configuration.xml file and replace the original content with the following text:
