Formula for adding a value automatically every month.

Hi, so this may seem simple to some but I am hitting a brain block. I am trying to have a value in one cell increase by 5% (value from another cell) every month. What formulas will work. Specifically, I have a starting value in A1, in A2 I have my paycheck, in A3 I have my 5% of that paycheck calculated. I want A1 to increase by A3 every month automatically.

That would b difficult and error-prone.

I'd use a separate row for each month.

That way you can see the history of the value, and correct any mistakes.
