Dear Lara_523
Thanks for raising your concerns in Microsoft Community.
We understand that you have encountered the problem of OneNote data loss. In order to better help you, we need to confirm some information with you:
- According to your description, is the notebook still there, but does not display any notes?
- Can OneNote on other devices display these notes?
- Can you find the notebook in OneDrive?
- Did you get OneNote through the Google Store?
Usually OneNote on Android devices will be synchronized to OneDrive, so you can first go to OneDrive.com to check whether the note files are all there.
If the notebook file is still there, you can open the OneNote note file directly in OneDrive, and it will jump to OneNote, and you can check whether the note file can be displayed.
If there are still no notes, you can first check whether there are recoverable notes in the recycle bin in OneDrive. If there are no recoverable notes, you can try to restore the OneDrive function. This operation can undo the operations made to the files in OneDrive within one month. You can try to roll back for a period of time to see if you can restore it, but this function requires you to have a Microsoft 365 subscription.
You can try to recover your data by following the above steps. I hope the above information is helpful to you. If you need further help, please feel free to reply.
Best Regards,
