I login to https://www.office.com/> My Content > Recently Opened > Other Cloud Locations.

I see there is an Excel file.

When i click on 3 dots, I do not see the option to Delete. I only see three options: Open, Favorite, Hide

Things I tried:

  1. Clear Cache and cookies.
  2. Tried different browser like, chrome, firefox and safari.
  3. Tried from two laptop: windows PC and Mac book air PC
  4. I searched online help it told me that there should be an option "Remove from list" but in my case, I do not see that option

Please help.

    Dear Bisal Ghale1,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are unable to delete files when using the web version of Office and that you have tried different devices with the web page, I understand your frustration.

Based on your description, I logged back into the web version of Office to check it out and it seems to be having the same problem as you, are you having the same problem as the image below? (When I select the file to delete, the delete option is greyed out)
