Visio - Exporting as html generates an error

I am using Microsoft® Visio® Plan 2 MSO (Version 2408 Build 16.0.17928.20114) 64-bit

I can not save file as a Web page

Steps:

  • New Diagram - BPM Diagram
  • *Add simple process shape*
  • File - Export - Change File Type - Web Page
  • ("Save As" window) Publish
  • ("Save as Web Page" window) *Default Options*
  • OK
  • ("Saving message")
  • "There was an error creating a file"

And nothing gets saved.

    Hi CesarBravoV,

    Good day! hope you are doing well.

    Could you please try the below steps:

    1. Could you please update your Microsoft Visio app?
    2. Could you please try to repair an Office application?
    3. Could you please let know if the issue still persists when you are running the Microsoft Visio app in safe mode? Open Office apps in safe mode on a Windows PC - Microsoft Support?
