Microsoft word app keeps crashing

Microsoft word app on my iphone and ipad keep crashing when I try to open the app. Tried resetting in settings > general > app > word but it only gets me to logging in with 365 accounts, then the app crashes again.

Any solution? I’m using ios 18.

    I understand that you are experiencing an issue that Word app crash on your iPhone and iPad with iOS 18. I understand the inconvenience this causes you.

    Recently, some users have posted in different language sections that they have encountered a similar situation, so your question may be a hot issue.

    For example:

    We've tested it here, but we can't reproduce the issue.

    In our tests, the system version was iPadOS 18.0.1 and the app version was 2.90.24101930.

    We are currently investigating this issue and gathering relevant information.

    In the meantime, you can tryopening Word by long-pressing the app.

    • press and hold Word.
    • Select "New Document" from the pop-up menu.
    • Can you open the software this way?

    Please note: The above methods do not always work and are only temporary solutions.  

    In addition, you can provide the following information to help us investigate this issue.

    • Your version of the software. If you can open Word using the method above, click on "Help & Feedback", where you will see the version number. At the same time, I sincerely recommend that you send feedback directly within Word app.
    • The result of trying the above methods.
