Word CTRL+A and mouse text selection problem

Any of the shortcuts Ctrl+A, Ctrl+V etc and selecting text via mouse does not work. When click and drag the mouse only selects the first line but cannot continue selecting other rows below with mouse. When try all lines deselected.

Also Copy, Paste ahortcuts works but not Select all (CTRL+A)

Nothing wrong with my mouse or driver. All shotcuts works as intended on all windows apps, browsers, file explorer etc. Also clicking and dragging the mouse down selects all the lines in any windows.

Just the Word has this problem.

Install, reinstall, wipe, clean install windows not solved the problem.

Reinstalling different versions incl Insider version also not solve the problem.

Thank you

I am experiencing the same issue with Word. I therefore contacted MS support. The case is not resolved yet. I am expecting an action plan next week.

    Added later:

I just discovered a workaround: I turned the OpenGL 10-Bit Pixel Format off. Off is the default. The issue disappeared.

I cannot replicate that issue here.

To facilitate selecting a block of text, left click with the mouse at the beginning of the text and then move the mouse cursor to the end of the text to be selected and hold down the SHIFT key and left click the mouse.

I have an AMD Radeon GPU and Adrenalin (Version 24.12.1) installed. In the Graphics tab there is a setting called "10-Bit Pixel Format" to enable 10-Bit Open GL buffer support. I disabled this.
