Lambda Functions Not Saving in Name Manager

I'm encountering an issue with saving Lambda functions in Excel's Name Manager. Previously, I successfully defined custom functions using Lambda within Name Manager in file A (e.g. "SCELL" function as seen Image 1).

However, I am now unable to replicate this in new workbooks (e.g., file B). As shown in Image 2, I attempt to define a new function in Name Manager using a previously successful Lambda function.

Despite clicking "OK," and return to Name Manager dialog box, the function disappears from the Name Manager (Image 3). This issue seems specific to new workbooks, as file A continues to function normally.

This problem significantly hinders my workflow. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I appreciate your assistance! While I managed to resolve the issue by modifying the command used to create the function (I'm still unsure why it worked in one file but not the other), your guidance introduced me to a valuable debugging tool in MS. Thanks for expanding my debugging toolkit!
