Excel crashes when (1) I try to invoke "import data from web page"; and (2) when I invoke "Refresh All"? I use Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2409 Build 16.0.18025.20160) 32-bit from Microsoft Store. All updates are current.

Problem occurs on a blank worksheet, as well as on worksheets that are already constructed.

Hi, Chexrong

Thank you for your reply and for letting me know your information.

It's great to know that you solved the problem by “uninstalling and reinstalling Office”.

If you look at it this way, it's the Office apps downloaded from the Microsoft Store that are unstable that are causing the program to crash.

Again, I'm glad to know that your problem has been resolved.

Microsoft values your feedback, and you can mark useful information as “Yes”, which will increase the visibility of this thread and allow people who are experiencing the same problem as you to locate the answer more quickly.

I wish you all the best.

I use Windows 11 Home (OS Build 22631.4317). I installed the 64-bit version (i.e. uninstalled the 32-bit version), which seems to have solved my problem.

    Hi,Chexrong

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are having problems using the “GetData” function. I would love to see your Excel working smoothly.

Before I offer you a solution, I would like to know what version of Windows you have?

The Microsoft Store version of Office software is actually limited by platform, so the downloaded software is not as stable as the software installation package downloaded from the online webpage. As well, we notice that you are downloading a 32-bit installer, so it is recommended that you switch to the online version and download the Microsoft 365 installer again. The steps are as follows:

Cleanly uninstall Office and reinstall it

If you encounter any problems, please contact me.

    Best Regards,
