Excel repair error

Question

Keep getting error message for excel saying "We're sorry, but Excel has run into error that is preventing it from working correctly. Excel will need to be closed as a result. Would you like us to repair now? If I press repair now, the application closes and then same error comes up again? Excel will need to be close?
