Ctrl+click to follow hyperlink excel 2021

How do I enable Ctrl+click to follow hyperlink in excel 2021. Clicking on a cell and having it auto go to the link is driving me nuts. I find a lot of people asking to turn it off. But none to turn it on.

    Thanks for visiting Microsoft Community.

    Currently, the Excel desktop application does not have a setting to enable opening links within cells via CTRL+click. Links within cells will open directly upon clicking. If you do not wish to directly enter the link, you can extend the duration of your click until the cursor changes to a hollow crosshair; this allows you to select the cell instead.
