I dont know if I have a different version, but the solution that the support option gave me suggested that I go into the layout and design tab to fix my header problem, I do not have those tabs, am I not understanding something here? I will attach a screen shot. Every time I try to add a header I only have two options, even or odd pages. I only need to change the last page to a references page.

If you can work using the desktop application, you will find the tabs referenced.

This shows how to have a Footer on last page only. The same process will work for a header.

Thanks for the screen shot. It suggests that you have the web browser version. That version is very limited compared to the full version that can run on a Mac or Windows computer.

What is it that you are trying to change in the header, by the way?

A screen shot will help us diagnose the issue and maybe tell us which specific version of Word you are dealing with.

Unfortunately, if you tried to upload a screen shot, it wasn't successful. Many posters report that they succeed if they upload their screen shot in a reply instead. It is worth trying.
