One note cancel tab

Question

On the one note app on my iPhone, every time I open it, it comes up with a cancel function, I go back and it goes to my page but with the writing function. Why is this happening?

Hello. Not sure if you are still having this issue. I had the same issue and what I did to resolve it was to sign out of OneNote and then sign back in. I seemed to have been signed in with 2 different accounts.

Thank you for your reply, did you mention trying to restart after shutting down and after you restarted it became displayed as the image below? Have you recently installed some 3-way programmes? Are there any errors occurring with other programmes on the phone? We'd like to check if it's an interference from other programmes.Unfortunately, we have not been able to reproduce your problem with version 16.87. Would it be convenient for you to install another version? This is the screen shot on the phone when opening up the app now also realised it when I open the app up for the first time

Hi, thanks for answering. I’m using the version 16.87.

There is no other option except for the cancel at the top left.

This only happens when my phone has been left aside for the night or a long period and open the app.

I cancel(because it’s the only function and everything goes back to normal.

I’m going to try and turn the phone off and on again.

• May I ask if you were prompted with an error message after returning to a new page? Can you share a screenshot of the page with us?
• Is there another option for the cancellation function you mentioned?
• What version of OneNote are you currently using? We have tested it on version 16.87 and unfortunately the option to prompt for cancellation does not appear.
