OneDrive + Microsoft 365 + iPad Functionality Instructions Questions

Hello,

I am working with assisting a friend that has 2 computers being completely down and not functioning. I will be troubleshooting those with her separately. This leaves her with ONLY an iPad to work with. I have my own Microsoft 365 subscription that I have always included her on along with another friend that no longer needs to be on my subscription because she moved over to a Mac laptop. I function 98% on my Win11 Pro computers for my Microsoft 365 suite subscription so I do not remember how to get her a link to install OneDrive and all the other apps onto an iPad including not remembering how to invite someone to get that onto their iPad through my subscription and also so they can access the OneDrive we already share.

Can someone please help me accomplish this?

• You want to share your Microsoft 365 subscription on your friend's iPad and let him use Microsoft 365 and OneDrive for iPad;

There are two scenarios that need to be discussed here, please login to your Microsoft account homepage and then click on Services & Subscriptions on the left side to view your version of Microsoft 365:Microsoft account | Sign In or Create Your Account Today – Microsoft

• If you are subscribed to Microsoft 365 Home Edition, see the steps in this official article for sharing, you can share the subscription with up to 5 members:How to share your Microsoft 365 Family subscription - Microsoft Support
• If you subscribe to the Personal Edition of Microsoft 365, which allows you to use your subscription on up to 5 devices, all you need to do is sign in to your Microsoft account;

The way to get office software and OneDrive on your iPad is to open the AppStore in your iPad and search for: Word, Excel, OneDrive, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc. in there; and then just sign in to the Microsoft account that has the subscription;
