Android access to MS Excel

For the past few weeks I can't access my Microsoft 365 documents on my Android phone. When I try to open a document it says read only, cannot edit. I can access on my PC. When I try to login the message says unrecognized account. Why am I paying monthly fees if I cannot access from my phone? I can access my Notepad and documents from my phone but Excel is not accessible.

    Hello. Jacqueline Thorne

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are unable to access Microsoft 365 Excel documents on your Android phone.

In order to better assist you, I need to confirm more information with you:

    1. You mentioned that you are unable to edit your Excel documents on Android, but can access other documents, are you referring to
Do you mean Word and PowerPoint documents?
    2. If you just can't edit your Excel documents individually, are all Excel documents uneditable? Or just specific Excel documents? Could you please share the specific screenshot with us so that we can better determine what the issue is?
    3. In addition, I noticed that when you try to log in to your account on your computer, the system prompts that the account is not recognized, could you please share a screenshot of this specific error message with us?

In addition, please go toaccount.microsoft.com, log in to your account, and click “Services & Subscriptions” to check if your subscription is valid. And please share the specific screenshot with us.

Also, please make sure that you are logged into the same account on both Android and PC.

We look forward to hearing from you so that we can help you better.

    Best regards
