Hello All,
I am a graduate student attempting to run an older program, Isoplot, on Microsoft Excel. It's for geochronology and similar applications. My advisor emailed it to me and my computer seemed to think it pretty suspicious. It first required me to get Excel out of Protected Mode to even install the add in. I enabled Macros against Excel's wishes. Now I finally have the add in added and a bunch of little icons at the top that create different plots for data. I double click any of the icons and I get an error that says "Microsoft visual basic for applications X 400." I'm pretty frustrated and not sure what the best course of action is to get this to work. I'm on a Windows computer and running a version of Excel provided by my university in desktop mode. Any help would be appreciated

Hi there and thanks for your reply.
I am trying to upload screenshots of the problem but the platform is not letting me. I am a new user and it may be related to this. I've attempted .png, .jpeg, and .heic picture file formats.
My Excel version is 2408 and it's a subscription. Here is the link for the Isoplot program I am hoping to run. It's version 4_15. https://www.bgc.org/isoplot/8857ffdd-0794-4f29-a547-a23f863a1ffc
Hopefully Microsoft stops being a jerk and lets me upload screenshots.
