    Dear ChrisW27,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

We understand that you cannot create files or upload images in shared folders.

According to your description, we see that you have an error when uploading or creating files through the OneDrive program, but you can use it normally on the Web. We have inquired and confirmed with you. We need to explain the problem about OneDrive shared folders to you:

Due to the feature update of OneDrive and the recent hot issues reported by global users, shared folders may not be opened directly in the OneDrive program. When opened, they will jump directly to the web page for editing and confirmation, and will appear in the "My Files" section of the web page. Uploading multiple files to the shared folder may display the wrong status of the files.

Add and sync shared folders to OneDrive for home - Microsoft Support

We are worried that your inability to upload files and images in the OneDrive program is related to this hot issue, and we are very frustrated about the inconvenience caused to your work. We have collected materials and feedback from the development department on this issue and will fix it as soon as possible. Microsoft has noticed this problem and is querying and fixing it day and night.

To help the development department collect more information, we also recommend that you try to put forward your suggestions and ideas in the dedicated feedback platform OneDrive · Community (English only), where dedicated personnel will pay attention to your feedback and comment on it.

After sending feedback, you can share the feedback link in this forum so that other users with similar problems in the forum, including me, can vote for your feedback. The more votes you get, the easier it is to get the attention of the development team.

    Best regards
