We are using sharepoint list to work . Sometimes we can't open our list due to failure :"Failed to bind" (photo in attachment). We can resolve it for short time by clearing history/ cookies data on Microsoft Edge. Sometimes it helps only till next Refresh of webiste/ list. How to resolve this permanently not for time being.

We've ran into this same issue on one of our customer's tenants, it seems to be related to the offline synchronisation in Microsoft Lists.

A temporary fix we found is to go into the Advanced Settings page for the list and set 'Allow items from this list to be downloaded to offline clients?' to No. This setting was also labelled 'Allow people to sync this list to their computers with Microsoft Lists and access it in the browser without an internet connection?' at one stage too, but seems to have reverted back.

I wanted to put this out there just in case others are experiencing the same issue. I resolved this issue by going into list settings > advanced settings and switching to the classic experience. After switching to the classic experience, the list appears to be restored, and I can switch back to the new experience afterwards. I've had to do this with a few of my lists that are connected to Power Automate. Hopefully Microsoft can resolve this issue soon.

    Dear Nikhil,

Good day and thank you for posting this in the forum.

As you described, you are using SharePoint list to work. Sometimes you can't open your list due to failure: "Failed to bind".

In such case, I would like to suggest some steps to try from your end:

    1. Please check in your Microsoft Edge if you have any enabled "Add-In" and try to disable them and check if the list is still having the same issue or not.
    2. You could also try to use "InPrivate Window" and open the SharePoint list.
    3. Please check if the list has any filter enable on your list during the list view & also through list setting-edit view-filters.

I would also like to ask if the issue is only happening with this specific list or other list also facing the similar issue?

I am asking the question to better understand your case. If you can share above requested information, we can find the root cause of the issue together.

Please note that my first response may not resolve your current situation immediately. But, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a specific guidance for your current query.

Appreciate your valuable time and patience.

    Sincerely,

    AJ RAJ| Microsoft Community Moderator
