I work at a school. A teacher there offered to give me a spare school laptop to use. The catch is I have to use her login information to access the PC. My question is can the account holder view what I do on the spare laptop? If so, to what extent can they monitor? Can they view my emails if I login for that pc? Can they view documents from my thumb drive? Can they view my browsing history? Can they see what I input in Microsoft Office suite (eg Word, powerpoint etc)?

    Hello Michael,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

If you and your colleague use the same account on 2 devices, she will be able to see your recent modified files in any Office application, and everything you've done in OneDrive. Even the Windows settings will be synced to be the same. So if you have any privacy concerns about this point, we recommend you do not try to use the same Windows logon accounts.

    Best Regards,
