Hi, I have down load problems. I have office 365 personal on subscription. Outlook is giving me heaps of problems with emails getting stuck in the outbox. so I thought I would re-install thesoftware however my operating system OSMonteray 12.7 is too old for the subscription software. I've been told to purchase the software. Can you recommend what I need to by for a iMac, Late 2015, Retina 5K, 3.2GHZ quad core intel core i5, serial no: CO2TD3F6GG7J.

With Thanks

Kind regards

Cath

Hi Cath, welcome to the Microsoft community.

I understand that you want to run Microsoft 365 on your Mac, but the latest Microsoft 365 only supports the latest three versions of macOS.

The following link lists the update history for Office for Mac, and some of the newer versions provide download links:

Update history for Office for Mac - Office release notes | Microsoft Learn

This article states that the October 2024 Update (16.88) is the last version that supports MacOS Monterey 12.7:

Upgrade macOS to continue receiving Microsoft 365 and Office for Mac updates - Microsoft Support

The earliest version provided by the link is the July 16, 2019 (16.27) update. Therefore, as long as your macOS is not too old, I believe you can find what you need in the update history.

Of course, to use these old version installers, you still need a Microsoft 365 subscription.

I hope this information is helpful to you!

    Best regards
