I see that x number of people did a "deep read" and x number of people did a "quick glance." Can anyone tell me how these categories are determined in the Analytics portion of Sway?

    Dear Sonya Starnes,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. I am happy to help you

In the context of Sway analytics, the terms "Glanced," "Quick," and "Deep" are designed to provide an indication of the level of engagement or attention given by viewers to a Sway presentation. While I don't have the specific time and distance definitions for each category, I can provide you with a general understanding based on common usage and industry standards:

    1. Glanced: This category typically refers to viewers who spent a relatively short amount of time looking at the presentation or quickly scrolled through it without spending much time on individual slides. It suggests a superficial or cursory level of engagement.
    2. Quick: The "Quick" category implies viewers who spent a bit more time on the presentation compared to those in the "Glanced" category. They may have spent a moderate amount of time on each slide, possibly skimming through the content. It suggests a slightly higher level of engagement than "Glanced."
    3. Deep: The "Deep" category represents viewers who spent a significant amount of time with the presentation, thoroughly exploring the content, and possibly revisiting specific slides. This category indicates a high level of engagement and interest..

Moreover, I tried to find the related Microsoft KB but there is no luck to find the related documentation. If the information provided isn't sufficient, I request you to raise a support ticket from the Office 365 admin center to check with related Sway team.

Thanks for your patience and understanding. Have a good day!!

    Sincerely,
