Hello. I opened a OneDrive account. I gave its password (access) to my employees. In that OneDrive account, I have all my important documents and files related to my business. In recent months, my relationship with one of my employees has deteriorated and I want to remove his access to my OneDrive account. I also want to change the previous password of the OneDrive account so that no one can access my account without knowing that password. In fact, I have revoked the access permission of all laptops from my Microsoft and OneDrive account. But still, employees can access my files. How is this happening? And if possible, I want to see all the previous activities that that employee did on my account. My files are at risk. Thank you for your attention.

    Dear CEYHUN MAHMUDOV,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. I am happy to help you.

First I suggest you change your password, this prevents others from logging into your account to access the files in OneDrive. Change your work or school account password - Microsoft Support

Once the changes are complete, check the access permissions for the OneDrive file, it is possible that the file has been shared before:

    • Going to the OneDrive website.
    • Navigating to the "Shared" section to see who has access to your files.
    • Removing access for any users who should no longer have it.

And if possible, I want to see all the previous activities that that employee did on my account.

If this user uses your account to log in to OneDrive, it is difficult to find all the changes he has made, this is because Microsoft can only detect the behavior of the account, can not tell who is using the account, so I recommend you change your account password as soon as possible to avoid losing important data!

Thanks for your cooperation. Have a nice day and stay safe 😊

    Sincerely,

    Tin | Microsoft Community Moderator
