Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Dear patrick Go-Sam
Welcome to the Microsoft Community. Hope everything goes well.
We understand that you may find yourself in a situation where you accidentally sign up for a Microsoft 365 subscription and then want to cancel it to get a refund, which can be confusing.
Can I check when I cancel my subscription, is it up to 3 business days? After you cancel your subscription to receive a refund, the following will apply:1. Refunds are usually processed within 3-5 business days and will be applied to the won payment option.2. If you purchased an annual subscription or purchased a monthly subscription within the last 30 days, you are eligible for a refund and can cancel within 30 days of your last renewal date .3. Turn off recurring billing, i.e. auto-renewal, so you won't be charged automatically in the future. For more information, see the following articles - Cancel a Microsoft 365 subscription - Microsoft Support
Unfortunately, community support is now required to adhere to two privacy guidelines.1. Privacy and Security: It is not appropriate to publicly share financial and subscription issues related to personal information on the forums. 2. Access to Account Information: Community Support can't directly view a user's subscription details or billing information. As a result, you won't be able to process payments or make changes to your account. This information must be handled by the chat support representative in a separate window.
If we are unable to provide sufficient assistance through regular self-diagnosis methods (such as account access), you can create a new Microsoft account to access the online chat service and provide the relevant account and identity (e.g., email address/bank card number information/full address details within your account, etc.). Here are some of the steps you can follow:
Contact Microsoft Support.
- Visit this site: Contact - Microsoft Support2. Enter your question in the search bar. For example, subscriptions/invoices/refunds, etc.3. Now, click Get Help and select Contact Support below.
- Go to the Products and services tab and select the Microsoft 365 and Office category or Other Products.
- On the Categories tab, select Manage Subscription or another alternative.6. Go to OK.7. You can now select the option to chat with a support specialist on your web browser.
Note: If you see the last window that says you can't contact the chat support team because they have limited working hours, we recommend that you change browsers or try again in your browser's privacy mode.
With sincere regards. Jennie | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
