How do I Activate Microsoft 365?

I have tried Activating Microsoft 365, but nothing is working. I have uninstalled the apps, rebooted my computer several times and nothing is working. I have looked at the Microsoft 365 support page and tried everything and nothing is working. When I call the 800 number, the automative systems hangs up because "activating can be done online", but it's not working. I have had this Microsoft 365 for 2 years and I have never had an issue. The Microsoft 365 forums are not beneficial for me. I need to be able to speak with someone, instead of reading and trying these tips or "support" that is no help.

    It's important to know that your version of Office, version of Mac OS, and the license type are all factors in activation. You haven't told us any of that information, so all we can do is offer general advice.

    ACTIVATE MICROSOFT OFFICE

    Stand-alone perpetual license:

    Activate Office for Mac - Microsoft Support

    -or- 

    MS 365 subscriber:
    Activate Office - Microsoft Support

We've noticed that you posted this thread under "For Education" category, for work/school account organized by the organization, admin privileges are required to contact Online Support team.

    In this situation, please contact your Microsoft 365 administrator, follow steps in this article to contact Online Support. The support team has higher permission to remotely assist you and will involve more resource to further investigate the issue. This would be the most efficient way in handling this case for you.

    You can also use a personal account like Gmail.com, Outlook.com, Hotmail.com etc. to contact Online Support team via Contact - Microsoft Support.
