Language issue with MS Note

I bought a Mac book air from Germany. Though my system language the English US, MS one note is using Germany as standard language. When I change the proofing language back to English, it again falls back to German for the next word.
I also faced similar issue on Powerpoint while pasting english content from other applications.
Any suggestion how to fix this?
