Set up email forwarding to ******@onenote.com from Gmail Account

Hi! I have recently purchased a Kindle Scribe. I want to set it up so that I can email from the Kindle > Gmail > Forward directly to ******@onenote.com

However, when I set up the forwarding rule in Gmail Settings, it asks me to Verify the email before it can be set up. Is there any way to do this?

    Thanks, I am aware. I should have simplified my question to: "How can I verify the Microsoft email address ******@onenote.com"
