How to delete a task

I have 3 tasks that won't delete in Outlook. Every time I try something I get this error,

"This item cannot be saved. The folder may have been deleted or moved. Or, you may not have appropriate permissions for this folder. Right-click the folder and then click Properties to check your permission for this folder"

I have tried numerous suggestions none of which work. If you have an idea or suggestion please don't hesitate to respond. Thank you in advance for any help you might send my way.
