Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hello, Ivana Hadfield
Thanks for your post in Microsoft community.
I realized that you have a problem with unauthorized charge from Microsoft. I understand the inconvenience this has caused.
I'd like to explain:
If you accidentally click and get a free 14-day trial of Microsoft 365, the trial will automatically renew and continue to be charged at the regular price unless you cancelled the subscription.
You can sign in this website: Microsoft account | Services & subscriptions
See if you see an unwanted subscription on "Services & subscription" page, you can click "Manage"-> "Cancel" to cancel this subscription.
For more information, see Cancel your Microsoft subscription - Microsoft Support
I am more than willing to help you. However, there are two privacy guidelines restrict this community support for now:
- Privacy and Security. Financial and subscription issues often involve sensitive personal information that should not be shared publicly on forums.
- Access account information. Community agents do not have direct access to users' subscription details or billing information. Therefore, we are unable to verify payments or make changes to your accounts. This information should be left to Chat support and be in an individual window.
If you encounter a problem with canceling this subscription and want to get a refund, I sincerely recommend contacting Microsoft Online Chat Support to solve your issue and avoid your personal information being revealed in this public forum.
I will guide you to the right place.
- Visit this website: Contact Us - Microsoft Support.
- Sign in with your personal Microsoft account.
Note: It doesn't have to be an account associated with the subscription. Just log in with another available account. For example, you can sign in with the Microsoft account which you are using to post this thread. Then provide your billing information to the Online Chat Support. 3. Enter your issue in the search box. For example, subscriptions/invoices/refunds. 4. Click Get Help, then click Contact Supp ort at the bottom of the page.
[
- Select Chat with a support agent in a web browser.

Please note: The Chat support team only works at certain times, so if the last window says you are not available, try to open it again the next day.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. I hope your problem will be resolved successfully.
Best wishes,
Lucia Wu - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
