Hi,

I would like to make a question about SharePoint public link.

I want to create a public link for people inside of the organization and for external users. The thing is that i don't want to do it separate for each one folder/file, i would like the whole SharePoint site and i don't find anything.

Also to inform my SharePoint site has policy for Anyone to enter.

Is it possible to create a public link or no? If yes can someone please help me? If it's possible some screenshots could be helpful, thank you!

    Hi GeorgeL138,

    Thank you for reaching out!

According to Microsoft's official article ( Share SharePoint files or foldersCurrently, SharePoint Online does not offer a way to create a single public link for an entire site that allows access to both internal and external users. However, there are a few approaches you can take to achieve similar functionality:

    • Consolidate all folders into a single folder and share the root folder using "Anyone with the link" Once users access these main folders, they can navigate through the subfolders as needed, creating a similar experience to sharing the whole site.
    1. To create an “Anyone” link for a folder:
    2. Go to your SharePoint document library and select the folder you want to share.
    3. Click Share > Copy link.
    4. Copy the link to share with users.

If you are unable to see “anyone link” please follow the steps in this article ----->>>>Anyone with the link option is greyed out - Microsoft Community

    • Internal Access:
    • For internal users, you can add them directly to the SharePoint site’s permissions, which will give them access to the entire site without needing individual links.

I believe it’s a good idea to share the entire SharePoint site withanyone link”**. Hi GeorgeL138,

    Thank you for your reply.

**Currently, the only workaround is the method you are using, and I recommend it in my previous reply.**please provide feedback in our feedback community so our development team can review and adjust the SharePoint according to user voices.
