    Since you mention that you got the message, you may see an immediate fix in the prompt, but sometimes the button won't help you fix Office apps, so I suggest you try the following steps:

    1. Repairing Office from the Control Panel:
      Go to Control Panel -> Programs -> right-click on Office applications’ icon -> Change -> Online Repair.
    2. Performing a clean boot in Windows determine whether a background program is interfering with your Office application.
    3. Creating a new user account: Manage user accounts in Windows - Microsoft Support
