mfa nightmare

I've encountered a nightmare MFA access problem, preventing me from reaching my admin center. I am unable to login to admin center because the MFA is on an old phone that has been reset/shut off. I did not have another verification method and/or another global admin that could reset the account (lesson learned) and now I keep getting directed to the MFA which I am unable to access. This ordeal has proven exceptionally distressing and has left me feeling quite hopeless after working with Microsoft's Data Protection team. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, I'm repeatedly informed that an agent has been assigned, yet I never receive a call back. This ongoing issue has persisted for weeks and caused substantial losses. I'm desperately seeking guidance or direction to help resolve this nightmarish situation, as my confidence in Microsoft has been severely shaken. I fully understand the need for data protection and security; however, Microsoft must hold themselves at a higher standard when resolving issues around business that impacts the livelihood of people. At this point I would like to cancel my account but can't even do that because I am unable to access the admin center. A true Microsoft Nightmare. Agents consistently created new tickets, pushing you to the next, and never receiving a call back. Shame on Microsoft and the Data Protection team. I have documented everything and will be taking further action.

Based on the experience of other users. If the ticket has already been escalated to the data protection team, it may take a few weeks to resolve.
