Lost Microsoft program and files

I hit upgrade that showed up in my notifications and lost everything microsoft in my computer. How do I restore microsoft and find my files?

    A Windows Update normally wouldn't remove any programs from your computer. However, resetting the computer to factory defaults or resetting the Windows installation is likely to remove anything that wasn't preinstalled.

    You should be able to reinstall Office from your associated account at https://account.microsoft.com/services.
