I am trying to filter a workbook, and it won't because of merged cells. I took the steps to find the merged cells and none were found. What are my next steps?

Thank you. I tried to find the version of excel but I don't see it. This is a work computer using 365.

My process; Find; Format; Merge Cells; OK; Find All

Then it says that there are none found yet when I choose to sort by column A it responds that all merged cells must be the same size.

What steps did you take to find them, and which version are you using that won't let you filter with merged cells?
