As of 10/29/2024, when I ask Copilot what files it can accept, it says no problem with Word, PowerPoint, and PDF and then when I try to upload it cannot execute an upload.

    Dear BrianMahoney6

Thanks for raising your concerns in Microsoft Community.

We understand that you are having trouble uploading Office files in Copilot. In order to better assist you, we need to confirm some information with you.

    • Did you get an error message when you tried to upload the file? If so, could you take a screenshot and share it with us in your reply?
    • Are you logged into your personal account or business account in Copilot?
    • And are you using Copilot or Copilot Pro?

We tested this by logging into Copilot with an account that was subscribed to Microsoft 365 but did not have any Copilot subscriptions. When we tried to upload a file, we got the following prompt. Do you get the same prompt?

Based on your description, we are unable to identify the specific situation, so please share the specific information with us so that we can confirm the cause of the problem and conduct targeted troubleshooting.

We look forward to your reply and will continue to provide you with assistance.

Your understanding and patience will be greatly appreciated.

    Best Regards,

Tracy - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
